Tux Paint is a drawing program for children aged below 12 years. It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program.
Tux paint is student-friendly, children love it because of its simplicity and its ability to create a picture from scratch very quickly. It comes with a wide range of different stamps and backgrounds that children can start creating with.
Students of Grade 3, started the Reading week activity by watching a silent French short film – Un monde decouvrir. After watching the silent film students used the tux paint app to create a storyboard of four slides. They were very eager and enthusiastic to paint on the Tux and create their story.
It’s amazing how this program helped the students to unlock their creativity. It was fascinating to see their happy, curious, and satisfied faces at the end.
Students downloaded the Tux paint and created a beautiful storyboard with their understanding. They created four slides with the elements taken from the short film they watched. Their creations were amazing and it was wonderful to see all the students taking part actively. Children thoroughly enjoyed today’s activity and are looking forward to more.
