Our breakfast club is conducted every Saturday morning from 10:00 to 10:30 am. It is an informal meeting with our class. It is supposed to be like our lunch break at school, which is also supposed to be an informal meeting with our friends, but in a physical school, we also eat. During the breakfast club, we do activities that help us get to know our classmates or we do interesting activities with our class teacher. I think it’s nice to take a little break from school and do something fun with teachers. I have had a lot of fun at the breakfast club so far.
The few activities we’ve done are – two truths and one lie, One word that describes you and doodles your name. They were all nice but my favorite one was doodle your name. In two truths and one lie, we all took turns and said one lie and two truths about ourselves and the rest of the class had to guess which one was a lie by pointing the number out on their fingers and then the person whose turn it was they say which one was actually the lie it was a good way to know each other even online.
One word that describes you as an activity in which Suma Ma’am had published a discussion post and we posted one word in the discussion post and then in the class, everyone had explained why they picked the particular word, and then everyone liked and commented on each other’s posts. In the doodling activity, we doodled our name in 15 minutes and then showed it to the screen when we finished. This activity was my favorite because it was one of the activities in which we were even allowed to use colors and use our imagination and creativity.
We even discussed a friendship salad which is basically categorizing everybody into different ingredients in the salad. It was very funny reading the salad recipe as students but at the same time, my mouth was watering listening to all the yummy things like yogurt, marshmallows, pineapples, etc. Even though the breakfast club is very short it still is worth it.
