Dance, a way to express your feelings!! it might be happiness, sadness, anger, love, or any other emotion or feeling. Not only for expressing yourself, but dance is also meant to convey a message.
For example, when India was colonized by the Britishers a woman named Lakshmi used to dance to gather people and convey a message to them
that Mother India needs them and if you all want to save her then work with Syra Narasimha Reddy (A freedom fighter who is well known for
his respect and the way he fought for his country). This act of hers has made the people come together and work as a team. This has helped Syra gather more people on his side, making it a bit easier for him to fight against them.
In our Disco Ninjas club, we not only learn, but we even try to create (or choreograph) dance. Today we had a quick round of warm-up exercises, ensuring every part of our body was stretched so that there would be no issues of pain while dancing.
Then we started dancing to the song One India Mashup 3. We had a short run-through of what we had learned and choreographed in the previous
class. We then choreographed the next part of the song. At last, we ended the class with a cheerful smile on our faces.
I would like to share what I learned and contributed to the class today. I learned new steps in the dance, practiced on my coordination, and tried to perfect my steps. I would like to conclude by telling a quote.
“Dance is more than just moving your body; it is a pathway of expressing your inner soul and thoughts.”
