I am happy and glad to get 96% in CBSE Grade 12 board exam conducted in March 2019. This would not have been possible without the support and guidance of my teachers who have always guided me and always available to clarify my doubts. I thank my teachers and my classmates who had immensely contributed to my success.
Did you really expect to be one of the toppers of the school?
Getting a rank had been my least priority, but I had been following my study schedule and the guidance of my teachers to do my best. I focused to improvise my performance gradually over the months.
Did you have a fixed pattern of study? How did you prepare for the exam?
I spent about 3-4 hours daily on weekdays and on weekends, I spent time preparing for competitive exams such as JEE, CET, and others.
What was your day like during the study holidays?
During the study holidays, I would spend about 6 Hours studying with a few hours break in between sessions.
What was your coping mechanism during the exams? what was your stress-buster?
While the study schedule exerts some mental pressure, I was able to cope up with it by spending time watching sports and movies.
In the age of digital distractions, did you have to stay away from gadgets for the month,
I consciously stayed away from gadgets and social media like Whatsapp, FaceBook, Instagram, etc. However, I was in School study Group of Whatsapp to get updates on academic related issues.
Do solving old question papers help?
I made sure that I am strong in concepts which enabled me to crack questions of different difficulty levels and I followed up with my teachers to get clarity and to correct my errors at the earliest. I referred to previous years question papers to understand the pattern, marking scheme and plan time management.
The success mantra that you want to share with other students?
I finish my exam preparations the day before the exam and retire to bed on time. I do not study on the day of the exam. Most importantly, I do not discuss the question paper with my friends or at home after coming out of the exam hall.
How did CMRNPS help in your preparation for the Boards?
The regular class tests, pre-board examinations and approachability of the teachers even during the study holidays for any clarifications helped me gain confidence and perform well in the exams.
What are your best memories from College?
I enjoyed the school atmosphere and the time in CMR campus was really refreshing to keep my energy level high.
I once again thank the teachers and the management for my successful academic year of 2018-2019.
