Every student has a professional goal, and at CMRNPS we give our students every opportunity to explore the professional world before making their career choices. The knowledge gained in a classroom is quite different from the knowledge gained from real-life experiences. From expert talks to outbound learning we ensure that our students get best of knowledge, and Work Exposure Program (WEP) is one such effort from CMRNPS.
The WEP of CMRNPS places the students of grade 9 -12 in reputed organizations for the summer internships to get a brief understanding of the work environment. It gives them an opportunity to network with professionals, gain professional feedback, and make informed decisions about their career path. The WEP 2019 has just started and our students are busy being professionals in organizations such as; Advance Education & Computer Services, XLR8, Olive Planet, Play Arena, The Green Pocket, Goobes Book Republic, Vita Beans Neural Solutions, Arius Holidays, Photomojo, Reap Benefit, Bengaluru FC, Lodestar, Crazy Holidays.
During this period our students will get familiarized with various functions of an organization. Get hands-on experience in marketing activities such as sales, digital marketing, social media campaigns, eCommerce, writing blogs, data management, etc. They will learn about basic designing and animation, designing and validation of new products. They will be involved in administrative activities such as; taking and tracking orders, guiding and preparing activities for summer camp, assist with the running of the store, inventory, stock taking, selection of books for purchase, reading and learning to map a bookstore for the local citizens, etc. They will also be coaching students, officiating at tournaments, learn the basics of photography, understanding customer requirements, figuring out new ways to do digital marketing, build online communities, and learn accounts function.
Many NGOs such as; U&I, Sandesh, Avasar Foundation, Key Education Foundation, Diya Foundation, Indus Action, Udhyam Learning Foundation, CRY-Child Rights and You and Reap Benefit have accepted our students for summer internships. NGO experience will introduce the students to Field/Community work, content writing, fundraising, database management, curriculum development, vocational/daycare activities, RTE applications, online crowdfunding, surveys, social campaigns, etc.
With so much to learn we are sure that our students will have loads of things to talk about the WEP of this summer. We will soon share their experiences at WEP 2019 in our blog section.
