Teacher’s Day at CMR NPS is always a special occasion and this year was no exception. This year’s Bollywood theme brought extra sparkle as our teachers kicked off the day with their Bollywood glam, reflecting the lively spirit of the occasion. We began with our usual tradition – surprising our teachers by filling the blackboards with drawings and heartfelt messages. The anticipation was thrilling as we kept a lookout in the corridors, making sure our “masterpieces” remained hidden until the perfect moment.
The festivities continued as we moved to the school ground, where the day officially kicked off with a special assembly by Grade 10 D, followed by captivating performances from the Student Council. The students gave their all, making the event even more memorable. Then we had “Coffee with RAPS”, where we got to learn more about our Head of School, Ms. Praseetha, and Vice Principal, Ms. Nilanthi, beyond their roles in the school. The hosts of this event were our own students, Adon, Renaissance and Prakul.
The grand finale was a blockbuster Bollywood-themed fashion show, where our teachers strutted down the ramp in glamorous costumes, radiating confidence and charm. The day was a perfect blend of fun, appreciation, and a whole lot of Bollywood flair.
