Primary School

The curriculum is designed laying emphasis on both scholastic and non-scholastic aspects for the all-round development of the students. The academic year is divided into two semesters.

For Grades I to IV reviews are conducted every month and Grade V has two formative assessments and one summative assessment in each semester.

The Monthly Reviews, Formative and Summative Assessments include Project Based Assessments and simple tasks like notebook completion and submission, dictation, puzzles, drawings, quiz, role play, dramatization, debate, book review, seminars, presentations, worksheets and simple projects to test the students’ knowledge, understanding and application skills.

Apart from this several activities are conducted that are targeted to hone specific skills that are required for every student throughout their lives.

Middle and Secondary School

Grade VI – X has Formative Assessments (FA) conducted throughout the year, to sum up, the students’ progress. Apart from this, the teachers conduct several activities that are targeted to hone specific skills that are required for every student throughout their lives.

Each year is divided into two semesters.

• Each semester consists of 2 FAs and 1 SA.
• All Formative Assessments are simple tasks like notebook completion & submission, dictation, puzzles, drawings, quiz, role play, dramatization, debate, book review, seminars, presentations, worksheets and simple projects.
• Summative Assessment is conducted at the end of the semester. The SA papers are conducted as per CBSE guidelines.

Senior Secondary

Grade XI & XII

• CBSE norms are followed.
• Grade XI and XII will have 3 unit tests and 1 Term exam during each semester.
• Comprehensive revision is given for Grade XII theory and practical. Preparatory 1 and 2 exams are conducted during the second semester.
• Preparatory exams for Grade XII will be followed by board exams.
